Finally French Trip!!!

Hello sweeties;
Thanks for your patience!!
 Here is my french diary!

(sorry for any bad sentences but this has just been translated from french)

Sunday:I got up early this morning at 6 o'clock because it was the day of departure for Paris. I was excited to go to France. I am prepared and I dressed and I wear my denim shirt and my black trousers. At breakfast I ate cereal and drank hot chocolate. Then leave the house 6.45 pm and it was my friends mother who took me by car to school. In the bus, I was sitting beside my friend Georgia. At 7.15 pm, we went to the Eurotunnel terminal. The journey through the tunnel lasted 35 minutes. During the crossing knew watching a movie called 'Inception'. The bus trip up to Paris was a little boring. In Paris when we arrived, the first tour we did was a cruise on the Seine. I found this very good tour and the sights I saw were bridges, museums and my first glimpse of the Eiffel Tower. In the evening we ate at a restaurant called Bi ECU and I, I ate salad starter, pasta as a main course and dessert yogurt. As I drank Coke. My meal was not very nice in my opinion. After dinner, we went to the hotel in the south of Paris, My room was room number 106 and I shared my room with Georgia. I was very tired after a long first day when I went to bed around 9.50 and I fell asleep around 10.

Monday:
We later this morning at 7.40 am for breakfast. I eat a croissant and I drank juice. Then we left the hotel at 9:00. When we got to the Louvre, the sun shines. I'm having a look at the art. For my lunch I ate a stick with a coke. We eat in the bus because because we went right to the Eiffel Tower. We spent two hours at the Eiffel Tower and I bought a little Eiffel Tower white and glitter. I love it. I walked to the Eiffel Tower, as a reward for me I took the elevator down after. It was amazing the Eiffel Tower, as if I was flying! In the evening, we saw the Sacred Heart and we ate in a restaurant nearby. The food was very good. I had a steak and chips, the portions were huge!

Tuesday:Tuesday we went to Disneyland! We were all very excited. For my breakfast I had a croissant with Nutella. I was in a group of six people - Rebecca, Ffion, Georgia, Jack, Evan and me. It was a great day! We went on all the roller coasters, we even went on the carousel and teacups. Fortunately, no one in our group vomited! Our favorites were a rollercoaster of "Space Mountain" and "Rock 'n' Roller Coaster" - we went on this twice. In the evening we dined at Piza Roma and even if it was late, it was very tasty.

Wednesday:On Wednesday morning, we went to the 'Château de Fontainebleau. " We listened to the audio guides and toured the place. There were a lot of sculptures and paintings. We were all very hungry after seeing everything. We ate our lunch by the pool in the garden, it was very beautiful but very cold. Unfortunately I dropped my camera case in the water! Fortunately for Donald he rescued me. After we played versatile kick out. I was so cold I had goosebumps. I wore three layers! Finally, we returned to the hotel to pack our bags in the afternoon. In the evening we went to Piza Roma was Conor's birthday so we had a little party which was great fun. After that, we went bowling. I was nicknamed 'Zachary' and I had a lot of fun with 'Evelyn' and 'Jacqueline'Thursday:The last day we left the hotel at 9:00 and go to the "Cité Europe." the journey was very long much longer than I remembered! At noon we stopped at a Canadian War Monument. It was very large and we were all very moved. After that we all went to the toilet have we collected our lunch and ate on the coach. We watched an old classic called "The Breakfast Club" on the way to the "European City"We finally arrived! We had an hour and a half to shop there. First I went to the supermarket and bought food for my family to thank them for allowing me to make this trip. I bought pies and yogurt for my parents, popcorn to share with people on the bus and some chocolate cookies for myself. I also went in Sephora and I bought some products for me. The trip was over too soon! I really enjoyed our stay and I think my language skills and strengthen my friendships.

General Impression of stayI really enjoyed the French trip. The experience was incredible. I loved being in Paris and seeing its monuments, even if it was cold. My favorite passages saw the Eiffel Tower and go to Disneyland, because these days, I had the most fun with my friends. I wish I could go back!

Woe is me! Work Work and a Paris Trip!

Hello sweeties!

Urrrrrghh. Is all I can say. So much work. Textiles work to be precise for which is V. Hard, It doesn't help that the teacher wants homework she doesn't set or asked to be handed in!!!

But moan over. Other than that my school life is going quite well at the moment. I've just finished the Of Mice and Men essay coursework about (1250 words) today- which I'm glad to have out of the way. Last month we finished our Romeo and Juliet essay (2500 words). Lately there's been so many tests! We've recently got our marks back for Chemistry, Maths and we've just finished our Physics coursework. Next term we have our Biology coursework to look forward to!

Not made by me!
Parents evening was yesterday and the feedback was really good on the whole. My teachers are all encouraging me to do my best and aim for my goals! They all reminded me how important it is that I study ahead of tests to be sure my grades don't slip. Better pull a Granger and start revising for the end of year exams in the summer!

"What am I studying for? Are you crazy? You realize we need to pass these exams to get into the second year? They're very important, I should have started studying a month ago, I don't know what's gotten into me ..."- Hermione

So it's only a couple of days till the french trip! I'm sleeping over at Georgia's Saturday night for our departure at 7.20am the next day! It's going to be a jam packed week with lots to see and do - I can only hope the weather will be nice. We'll have to write a diary if our time there IN FRENCH so I might upload the translation onto this blog when I get back.

Much Love,
Najika

Warm Bodies

Hello Sweeties!

Went to the cinema today to see  Warm Bodies, I've been wanting to see this for ageeeesss - since I saw Michelle Phan's Make-up tutorial for R....

THE FILM IS AMAZING!!!

First off we got some food a la poundland, and sat on the wall in the sunshine ^^
Then we went window shopping. I didn't get much- only a belt organiser and a hairband from primark and some bendy hair rollers and a hair dougnut.

I tried out the hair doughnut but my hair is quite thin so it didn't work as well as i'd hoped but it did the job

I saw the film with  my friends at Vue, the screen was practically empty!
We pigged out on wagon-wheels, Tangfastics and Pinballs-Yum yum!

They're round mine tonight for a sleepover and we're all sociably ignoring each-other and reading

Gotta go!

Much Love;

Najika

Bad Squishy

Hello Sweeties!

I'm sooo soorrrrrryyyy!!!!!!

I've been so busy !

But in all seriousness I was sick all last weekend and because I was sick I had no sleep and that made me sicker! I had to take two days off school last week and I am still coughing but feeling better now. :)

Just finished with our schools production of Phantom of The Opera! I had a small part of the Confidante in Il Muto along with the opera chorus in some other scenes. The curtain never went up on time and my mic didn't work for my solo :'(

Meh

Anyways... Thats all for now folks!

My hair care routine!

Hello sweeties!

Thought you might like to see what hair products I use and how I rate them, keep reading if your interested!

Herbal essences- Beautiful ends;
Split end protection cream

I bought this product several months back and have been using it religiously ever since. And I still have about half left!!

"I'm your secret weapon against split ends and your bodyguard against breakage. Oh, and I'm strong on silkiness too..."

This product smells very clean and like raspberries. It has a consistency that feels nice on the hair and absorbs relatively quickly.
Since i started using it, my hair has been hydrated smooth and shiny.

However,
Although I really like this product, I wouldn't say it stops my split ends.  I have noticed just as many split ends with the product as opposed to without. But that might just be me. Because if something isn't there how can you tell if something is preventing it?  Though it DOES stop my hair breaking off.

I give this product a 4/5, because it's really hydrating and prevents my hair from breaking but not splitting. I use this product after Towel drying my hair.

Sunsilk weightless volumising cream

I apply this at the same time I apply the split end protection cream. I apply That to my tips and this to my roots and sides.

This product helps my hair have a bit more volume up top also this product is great for making my curly baby hair co-exist peacefully with the rest of my my straighter locks. Another bonus is that it wont make hair greasy. To get maximum benefit from this Blow dry hair upside down.

I picked my bottle up in Poundland ;) keep an eye out!

I give this product a 4/5

 If I am Blow drying...

got2b guardian angel

This spray takes centerplace among my lotions and potions. I love the design of the bottle and it smells gorgeous. I use about 3 sprays from 30cm to cover all my hair. You can FEEL your hair is protected- a true Guardian angel. I picked this up for half price in a drugstore.

5/5

For Layered Locks...

At the moment I am growing my hair out along with my shorter layers so I can experiment more with my hair.

Mess-head Styling gel spray

-Moderate hold-  good for a tousled bedhead look
I spray into my hand then scrunch, or hold up sections and spray roots.
  TONI&GUY Salt Spray

-Flexible hold - good for a summer waves, beachy look.

I mist over hair.

 Adee Phelan Diamond Hair Clay

- Stronger hold - Good for definition
I also use to force my baby-hairs into submission

I may not be posting as much for a while due to my school work, but will try and keep you updated!

Gym!!

Hello Sweeties!

Today I spent the day at the gym with my DofE Group.

We'd booked our induction at the gym on Friday, and today was the big day!

I'd planned to leave my house at 10.40 to be there for 11.15 but my friend who was giving me a lift was running late =.= Then when we were halfway there my dad called to say I'd forgotten my enrollment form! *stupid girl *  so we eventually got there ten minutes later than planned.

The staff were all really nice. We were allowed to use most of the equipment at the gym, but some things like weights and resistance we couldn't because of our age.

After he'd showed us how all the equipment worked it was 12, we then stayed till 1 had a snack break before going back again ^.^

The boys left at 2 (wimps!) and Georgia left shortly after. Jess and I stayed till 3 *big grin*

I would never had thought I'd have so much FUN at the gym. Afterwards I was buzzing, completely stress free and happy :) Anyone else going to the gym this year?

Whats in my Gym bag?

My membership card!

1) Water bottle - I probably refilled this at LEAST 5 times today!
2) Fragranced Anti-perspirant- Smells reaalll nice, I use some before and after even though I don't sweat that much
3) Lynx Body-spray
4) Anti-bacterial hand gel
5) Blotting Sheets
6) Money for Lockers
7) Headphones and iPod
8) Asthma pump- Yes, and as untrue as it sounds I have asthma caused by exercise - yes I know... how lame is that?!

Comment if you want to know what playlist I had and want to know more about the gym!

Oh and before here's a new make-up look I tried out yesterday! I think i'm getting into lipstick now... What do you think?

Shopping and Sleepovers

Hello Sweeties!

    and Hello 2013!

Wondering how I spent the first few days of the new year?

K-ON! Volume 1

  XD Just Kidding!!!

I've been busy busy busy... ish.

Yesterday I spent pretty much the whole day in Canterbury, walking from shop to shop. And shop to shop. and shop to shop to shop to... bus stop.

First off, I bought was a Garnier Skin Naturals Pure Self-Heating Sauna mask. It was £1.09 from Super-drug and came with 2 sachets, that could each last two applications compared to others I've tried.

This was the second self heating mask I've used. The first I tried was a citrusy and Gingery one which was quite hot but not so as to be uncomfortable. The Garnier one was only hot when rubbing and felt quite sticky. After I washed it off my face felt really smooth and non-greasy so I would defiantly recommend.

My Aunt is getting married in March so buying a dress was another thing I had to do. I had previously ordered one online but it was to glitzy for me, and far too showy for a wedding guest. I really like the dresses in BHS but some of them don't have zips so its hard to get in and out of- here are the dresses for comparison. Whereas the first is more of a one time only dress, the Monochrome one can be accessorized according to the occasion.

This is the dress I took back, very pretty hot pink- but more suited for a prom.
This dress can be worn with or without  the straps and I really like the puffball skirt ^.^

Later yesterday evening I had Jess round for a sleepover. It was nice to unwind before going back to school on Monday. I did her nails and we watched Confessions of a Shopaholic and ate Galaxy chocolate. This morning we watched Big Bang Theory over breakfast and took my dog out on a walk.

 Happy Birthday for tomorrow Mum!

Much Love,
Najika
