New Years Resolutions 2013!

Hello sweeties!!

Excited for the New Year?

Yesterday I met up with my Boyfriend and we went to watch the Hobbit at our local vue cinema, it was our first date and it was really nice to spend some time with him in the holidays.

As you all know; ITS NEW YEARS EVE TOMORROW! ALREADY?!?

It only seems like yesterday I was getting ready for 2012, watching Lucky Star and K-on! episodes about New Year, and making a list of New Years Resolutions. I kept Half of them... Okay maybe a 1/4... Out of 12....

Tomorrow night, my family and I are spending the night at a friends party , and I don't know any of them! Eeek!

But anyhow I've been really lazy this year and haven't written any yet :O

So here goes:

1) Join a Gym - I have been meaning to do this for a while now. For DofE we need to get a certain amount of activity in, and I am a lazy person with no hobbies. So a gym I will join with my friends to motivate me!

2) Study Harder- My grades haven't been so good lately especially  in sciences, so I will work harder ask more questions- and BECOME AN ALL A STUDENT!!!!!

3) Become healthier- I will choose healthier snack options and make a conscious effort to try different fruits and veggies.... even if they're yucky

4) Become and stay tidy and organized- I'm very good at getting organized- but not so much staying that way, I will try harder to put away my stuff -in its proper place- before I go to bed. Work Hard to get my dream bedroom!

5) Exercise more- I will go to the gym on a weekly basis and do yoga daily

6) Go on more adventures- I will walk my dog more and try to go to places I haven't been before- then blog about it =P

7) Doing something I've always wanted to do- I want to go ice-skating again this year!! I really enjoy it but there isn't a rink near us ='( ...Maybe I'll buy roller skates?

8) Break a nasty habit- I. WILL. STOP. PROCRASTINATING. and get off of my lazy bum

9) Watch less t.v/computer- I know I have been spending too much time on my computer lately. Instead I will read more books and draw more. Set aside some time just to think.

10) Take more Pictures- I love taking photos, My friends... not so much.... I will try my hardest to get pictures of us all doing the things we enjoy. Pictures are free- SO TAKE THEM!!

12) Be Thankful for what I have- I will try to think of three different things about my life that I am thankful for every night. I will also try to be more honest with myself and think before I speak.

13) Volunteer More- Eeek! I need to get another 18 hours of volunteering for DofE- Help!!!!!

There ya go 13 resolutions for 2013

Happy New Year guys!

Christmas Holidays!!!!!!!!!!

Ho Ho Hello sweeties!

Another dawn, another day! The world continues to exist- hoorah!
Besides what with Christmas just around the corner, even the end of the world couldn't bear to be a party-pooper!

Yesterday I broke up from school after a week of not actually doing much. Watching movies and competing for chocolates in quiz games, its like an extra week of holiday^^ I spent last night watching a replay of a Michael Mcintyre's Christmas Comedy Roadshow, he is by far one of my fave comedians alongside Miranda.

We hosted a Secret Santa within my class and i got a whole celebrations tin from my 'not so secret Santa' who had 'carefully' *psssh!!!*  wrapped it.

From my besties I got a Body shop Mango body wash set and a  Gold Snowflake necklace.
*Thank You!*

Has anyone else opened present early?

Clothes Show Live!- Friday 7th December

Hello Sweeties!

As you guys know, I choose textiles as an option for my GCSEs. Yesterday we got the day off to go to the Clothes Show Live at the NEC in Birmingham

The coach left school at 6.30 am and set off on its journey of 3+ hours =_=

I spent the journey reading Betrayed -from the house of night series- and playing on my DSi.

When we *finally* got there, there were some really nice guys from Galaxy, handing out free bars of choccie ^.^ (Thank You!)

It was really windy when we got of the coach and had a Marilyn Monroe moment a few times >///<
but when we got inside it was really warm.

It was HUGE. There were stalls everywhere! I wanted to buy everything - but I'd only bought £20 with me so I had to budget.

I saw some really really cute dresses, like a more feminine and fitted version of what one might call a Mori dress.

At one of the stalls I saw a grey knitted dress with a bunched up skirt and buttons- it was so pretty!!
the conversation with the seller went a bit like this:

Him: You like it?
Me: Yes. How much is it?
 Him: £200
  Me: Run away
Him: Jusssst kidding its £20 =D
Me: Still too much!!!!!!!!!!!

 In the end I bought:

So..? Goodie bag

 'Cosmopolitan' Goodie Bag
'Your hair' Goodie Bag

My first 'David and Goliath' T-shirt in the following print - love it!

Hey Shorty!

Here's some footage of the day

So anyways! Hope you enjoyed reading about my day!
Did anyone else get a chance to check the Clothes Show Out?

Hello Sweeties!

Today I went to Earls court to go and see the Hyper Japan exhibition! It was so cool!
I tried Omurice and these strange dumpling things which were yummy! I would've liked to buy somethings but I wanted to buy something that meant something to me- None of the anime/manga/magazines or music I liked was being sold! I couldn't even find and Pocky! :'(

Oh well, overall it was a fabbie-dabbie day!
I was cosplaying as Rin Kagamine from the Music video: Alluring Secret Black Vow

Rememberance Sunday Post

Hello Sweeties;

Been so busy recently and hope your all having a lovely November!

Today we were blessed by nice sunny skies which make a change from the bitter cold we've been getting for the past couple of weeks.

Silver DofE is about to begin for me this year and I have to think about what I will do for each category. For Bronze I have been fundraising for the Pilgrims Hospice and in the Skill section I got my Art teacher to sign off my drawings. For the Physical section though I'm a little stuck. I have a mild asthma that is triggered by exercise so I tire easily and I completely lack sense of hand-eye co-ordination when it comes to ball sports. Seriously though, I'm worse than Bella Swan O.o

I'm thinking going to a gym or trampolining, but I dunno *shrugs*

Hope you had a lovely Remembrance Sunday!

Facial Scrubber Review!

Hello Sweeties!

I bought my facial scrubber thingy from eBay last week and have been trying it out.

Personally I HATE using a flannel, it just feels icky to me when I am using different facial products and rinsing them off just clogs up the cloth.

I am using this in conjunction with my
'Tea Tree foaming facial wash' seen here

So far so good! It works well and feels really nice and massaging on the skin. Also I have noticed fewer blackheads since I have started using this.

The only negative is the tiny itty bitty facial scrubber. It's about the size of a Penny so you  can't really use it for much, so it's kinda pointless.

Also If you are going to try one of these make sure your face is really wet first otherwise it won't work very well :/

Much Love,

Najika

Beauty Haul!!!

Hello sweeties^^

Guess who went shopping yesterday?

As my birthday was in August I had money to spend, I have had hardly any clothes for ages because I kept on selling stuff and never replacing it.
Also recently my FAVORITE Miss Sixty Jeans , were ruined by bleach and have gone to the big denim heaven in the sky ...*R.I.P*

So what did I buy?

Beauty
BB Cream, Facewash, Body Butter, Bobby Pins
BB Cream- I have never really used foundation as such because my skin has always been okay without it, but recently it's been getting a little oily and I have been breaking out a bit. I read the review on BB cream by Mana Starr and she really rated it apart from the colour. But now they have brought out the light shade of the BB cream, I sent off to Garnier to try some samples of the standard one. and Oh my gosh, Mana wasn't lying this stuff smell gorgeous. So low and behold I purchased the oil free one for me. It really works well at mattifying the skin and although it doesn't smell as nice as the regular one, I think it works better for me and looks amazing.

UPDATE AND WARNING: This bottle leaks like CRAZY, if you store it on its lid, the product will spill out of the lid wasting loads. Also now the product appears to have a slight orange tinge. Not sure whether I've become paler or the  product's changed over time.

Duo Body Butter; floral Acai- This was half price so I thought I'd treat myself. It has two different butters inside, one for dry area's one for normal, I put some on last night and I can say my knees and elbows are already feeling softer.

Bobby Pins- I managed to lose all my hairgrips again so I bought some more.

Tea Tree Foaming Face wash- Haven't tried this yet as I still have a little of my Body shop  tree face wash left. I am planning to use it with my silicone face pad and review it when it gets here.

Fabric- I know it isn't beauty but it is beautiful! We're making a book cover in textiles so I had to go out and get some fabric. I bought the 1/4 yard of three different fabrics, The First: is the one in the picture, pink roses and ribbons. The Second: has Blue gingham and roses, The Third: pink gingham and strawberries - I'll show you when we finish ;)

Clothes
Voodoo Dolls, Braces jean, Mid-wash
Jeans-  I bought some replacement jeans from Voodoo dolls, and was really impressed with the look and cut of them. Because I have short legs it's hard for me to get jeans that fit right. This style has detachable braces which are really cool and they're really comfy.  At first I wasn't sure about the colour contrast but it's the look and is said to even over the washes.

Hollister Jeggings in Dark Grey

More Jeans - I bought some more jeans from hollister in a dark grey. These are very skinny and it's hard getting them over your heel but once they're on... Wow. I LOVE HOLLISTER. They are low waisted and super gorgeous on the leg with the seagull on the front pocket. Unfortunately there is nothing saying they're hollister on the back but I can live with that;)

My Gorgeous top - I fell in love with this top as soon as I saw it. Normally I hate floaty tops because they drown my figure, but this one is slightly translucent and has a thick elastic at the bottom which is really great for me. It is so well made and comfortable and feels really really nice.

Stay tuned for more :)

EuroDisney & My birthday

Hello Sweeties!

I got some catching up to do this week!!

This Monday was my birthday and I spent it in Euro-Disney with my best friend Jess and My parents. We went for 3 days (Sun-Tues) a wonderful day in the park and it was all really amazing. My fave rides were;-

Space Mountain: 4 times - This one was really fast and chucked you about a lot and looped
Indiana Jones: 3 times - Supportive harnesses, One loop the loop really fast
Big Thunder Mountain: 3 times -Lasts a long time and you can wave your arms around :)

And Cupid struck on my birthday. Late in the evening on the 27th August 2012 I saw a gorgeous boy in the queue up ahead- and he was looking at me!  We kept smiling at each other and after the ride he came over to talk to me!!  Sadly, he was from Belgium and spoke french  but his English was still pretty good. We got separated before I could get a name or number so I will try and draw a picture of him. if its meant to be someday I'll find him... Alas.

So here are the Pictures! I need to rotate so please bear with me"

Summer Colds- Achoo!- and Favourite Anime

ACHOOO!!
    Hello sweeties!

I caught a summer cold! I keep sneezing and when I sneeze if I am lying down I happen to catapult myself forward, or if I'm in class I'll sometimes hit my head  on the desk - oww... -
Does this ever happen to any of you?

An appropriate scene methinks...

Anyways here I am going to put a list of my so far 'Favourite Anime and Manga' and why I like them. All of these have good opening music. So in no particular order... *drumroll please*

1. Lucky Star- the first Japanese Anime I started watching I first saw this two years ago in the English dub and fell in love with it. It is a good anime to pick you up when your down.
Kagamin <3

2. Kaichou wa Maid-sama!- A cute anime about Misaki who is a hard working and strong willed character, very entertaining and I find it easy to relate to Misa-chan.

My Misaki fanart
3. K-On!- I am watching this at the moment and I am on to Season 2, I own the first Manga and I was very impressed with all the detailing in the anime.^.^

4. Vampire Knight- I LOVE this manga it's definitely one of my favourites... but I have to say I was a little disappointed with the anime which was gloomier than I expected but nevertheless still very good. The second manga I ever read ( Volume 3 )

5. +ANIMA - Although its not an anime, it deserves to make this list. This was the first manga I ever bought. ( Volume 3- Why do I keep starting series on vol 3? ) Its very well drawn and the panneling on each page is done nicely. Nana is so cuteeee!!

Nana

 6. Tokyo Mew Mew/ Mew Mew Power- very cute and fun and in the English version the main character is called Zoe !!

7. Rozen Maiden -  A very Lolita anime, very fancy Victorian dolls. I really like the opening and the storyline ^.^I won this DVD in a drawing  competition at the 'Ashai Anime Brighton 2011'

8. Kitchen Princess- A manga I have just stumbled across and am LOVING!! It's uber-kawaii, super princessy- and has inspired me to start baking again =)

The Kitchen Princess!

9. Dengeki Daisy- This manga is very deep and touching but is really addictive and I'd recommend this to anyone male and female alike.

10. W.I.T.C.H- I think this was the anime that started it all for me and planted the seed that would have me buying a Manga how to draw book a couple of years later. I LOVED this anime <3

Thank you for reading!
